I just wanted to add that at the HIX in Frankfurt I just stayed at, they had this pancake machine at breakfast. There was a sign next to it saying that it was a test project for HIX in Germany. But you pressed a button, and about 60 seconds later a pancake rolled out of the machine. It was more like a swedish pancake and less like a buttermilk pancake. But it was still good with the plum sauce I put on it.
