Did you try doing that at BLR as well. Would have confused the security guys.
Oh dear don't even ask! It was worse - i didnt have a bp or a ticket. At least now they have a manifest of each flight at the airport entrance and let you in without a ticket. I've had past experiences at other airport where I had to beg to be let inside!
