Rush hour traffic this morning on Asoke from QSCC heading towards Suk appeared to be back nearly to normal levels. However, no one's dismantling the sandbag or cinder block barriers in front of shops yet. Breakfast at SGS has been nearly empty; BarSu closed until Thursday. Rossini and Basil closed for lunch for now. Comfortably at the pool on a lounge writing this on my iPad. With the real danger of flooding in central Bangkok passed, or nearly so, the big problem is going to be getting tourists to come back. Apart from hard drives, local reports are that beer and fresh produce could continue in short supply for a while. You'd never know it as an SGS guest, though; and I imagine that the same goes for the other major hotels, too. Come back!!! Best thing you can do to help the economy; as many are out of work.
