Those that believe QF could have put the issue before the FWA and get the same result are wrong.You only have to read the written judgement to realise that.It would also have been unlikely they would have got as early a hearing.
Second the Government could have issued a termination notice when notified by QF of the Grounding.That would have prevented the grounding.In fact there are reports that some senior ministers thought that was what should have been done.Julia felt otherwise.
