A friend of mine (ex-CX cabin attendant - from the good old B707/CV880/L1011 days ) said that Singaporean Chinese were so easy to pick out because they would take everything off the flight (e.g. pillows, blankets, toilet paper, cigarettes, matches, magazines). She claims that they were of the mindset that a purchased ticket entitled them to everything (怕输) on board the aircraft, they even wanted her wings (not the ones for children, but the actual one she wore on her uniform). This was back in the 1970's.
