Does inhibitor cure constant change from A to V?

This Thursday I go OKC-ATL-AMS-RIX. The return (11/12) is through DTW.

The fare basis is S so domestic comes up as A and AMS-RIX as J.

However, the final segment (DTW-OKC) keeps changing from A to V. Of course I don't want to lose the MQMs that I paid for but I am most worried that a premature V upgrade will be removed by someone while I am in Latvia.

Yesterday it took 23 hours to make it home from HER and after many frustrations with DL I get an email just as I step in the door saying my "upgrade" had been confirmed for the next trip. I called and DL changed V back to A but today it was back to V.

Anyway, the last DM agent today wanted to put an "inhibitor" in my record to stop the complimentary upgrades but I don't want to do that fearing I will lose FC period. I don't know if this matters, but the original ticket was W class flying mostly AF.

So inhibitor, yes or no?
