They have had online redemption systems in the past for the free nights with two stays offers... That would be an improvement here.
If I got 40K instead of a free night, I would be tempted to redeem for Pointsbreaks nights @5K giving me 8 free hotel nights.

I have been using most of my CC bonus for Pointsbreaks redemption at 5K/night. I usually was able to find a reasonable hotel on the last 3 PB lists, however they are not as good as they once were.
