Easter Island trip using BA points, high taxes?
Hello,

I have been trying to book a trip to Easter Island using BA points for LAN, Y class, tried this itinerary:

JFK-LIM(stop)-SCL(stop)-IPC
IPC-SCL-EZE(stop)-JFK

The taxes came out to almost $200 dollar per person though, which sounded quite high to me. Anybody have experience with this, do those taxes sound reasonable? When I asked the agent why the tax was so high, he had no idea and couldn't explain what was included in the tax amount.
