Last minute grab for gold - will it work...?
My membership year ends on 8 November, and I have 780 TPs. I'm also in a position, shall we say, to move to Spain as of now...

If I 'move' today and let BA know, perhaps, tomorrow morning by phone, I assume that will automatically log my account as a European one.

If on Monday 7th I then fly LHR-MAN-LHR on cheap tickets, I will get 10 TPs each way, and hit 800. That presumably makes me go gold, just in the nick of time?

Is there any risk with or fault with this logic that anyone can see?
