There was never an EXP desk in DUB. When you dialed 0808 .... (and selected that you were EXP), your call would be prioritised and answered with "executive desk". The service from the old DUB call centre was uniformly excellent and I hope that the staff there were treated well on the DUB closure.
Since the closure, I have found that all of my calls to the 0808... number route to the Dallas EXP desk. In my opinion, the DUB desk was more tuned into my needs as a London based flyer. It still seems like moving heaven and earth for the Dallas desk to figure out what to do with my UK credit card. Also, DUB just had more of a feel for operations at LHR (and where necessary knew who contact to get things done) - Dallas (understandably) does not have that specialist knowledge of LHR.
