I signed up for the SPG card and have spent about 4200 with a 500 spend then return. It looks SPG recognized my 500 spend then return as par tof the 4500 requirement so they gave me the points. I do not plan on using the SPG much but would like to know if anyone has experienced AMEX taking the SPG points back if one doesn't meet the 4500 spend?

I might go ahead and put an extra 300 on it but I'd like to know if anyone had the same thing happen and if the points were taken back if they did not meet the spend requirement.
