Just bought a sandwich at Subway this morning (Shanghai, Zhongshan Park metro station). Tried my Citi Visa. The thermal slip said 收单行:交通银行 (BankComm) but no sign of DCC, only an RMB amount listed. I don't know if this is an improvement (no DCC) or a new low (not showing it at all).
