Howdy all. I was just accepted into a challenge beginning today (10/30) through Jan 28, 2012. They matched my AA PLT to Premier Exec.

Here's my quandary... I booked DFW-ADD RT in Biz, (via EWR/FRA) and it will nab me 10,388 BIS miles on UA/CO metal (other flights on LH). However, the whole trip will get me 25,543 EQP - making me Premier on that trip alone.

So if I fail to pick up the extra 7200ish BIS miles to complete the 2P challenge, I will still have 1P after the trip is over I presume. My question, then, is will UA let me keep any of the bonus miles I get since I've just been upgraded to 2P during the challenge? Or will they remove them after I do not make 2P? Or will they take away the 2P level bonus and give me 1P level bonus?

I intend to complete the challenge, but I wanted to see if any of yall had any thoughts on this. Thx.
