I have experienced the same before in HKG. It is quite confusing where the baggage will come out from, with two baggage outlets for the same carousel.
But on some occassions, SQ ground staff have all the priority bags ready off the carousel in HKG as we arrive.

I have many times received F priority tags although I was travelling C, but never a Solitaire one.

Will be going to HKG two weeks from now.
