No excuse for staff "letting rip" (or whatever), but in all my visits to T2 (and those of other posters it seems) I have never seen EVA staff behave this way. Plenty of other EVA staff around to see them do it too. Not a great career move.
1) It is obvious there was a communication problem.
2) It also seems obvious that it wasn't a normal reaction at T2.
Can't see why it's such a big thing. Are you still furious and embarrassed? (If not and you miss being furious, you could always try being gold for 7 years on Evergreen Club!)
I'm surprised at the amount of critical responses here. It seems that many FTers enjoy their experience with BR at T2 and aren't willing to believe what happened to me can happen. I've had a hard time defending my story.
I'm a bit pissed at certain criticisms of my story. Having to race/follow your luggage is not standard everywhere. The need to do this at TPE (T2 at least) is not consistently passed on to the passenger in its full form.
Of course then 1. I got flagged by a security alert applicable on the day and 2. I got an agent who lost her temper at the additional work caused by being flagged. Of course I blame no-one for (1) and accept (2) is an exceptional case.
