I used to fly ezy down to gatwick from GLA a few times a month and I found the experience reasonable. The cabin crew seemed very efficient and polite, the seat was comfy and the leg room was adequate.

What I will say is I never flew with bags besides carry on and had always paid for speedy boarding.

The above said if I ever had to fly non-domestic I would choose BA (or eurostar my new found love if travelling in europe). I would phone BA and see if they could add BCN onto the PNR for the discounted price if you are connecting through LHR.
