SAN-MKE for $240 rt ai
Can route SAN-ATL-MKE-ATL-SAN for 5120 miles.

Same-day available on Dec 10. However, that involves a 54 min layover in ATL on the return. Do you feel lucky?

Alternative routings exist thru DTW.

The ATL same-day routing only comes up on Delta.com if you "search by schedule". This would re-qualify me as Diamond if I book it for myself. I'll pass; just can't handle another all-day never-leave-the-airport day.
