Helping my brother decide whether or not to transfer a large amount to SPG to airlines and wondering what are the options of what he can do with his points.

I know he is going to want a beach resort not too far (under 12 hours) from NYC and he is going to want it to be very close to 4 seasons quality.

Off the top of my head I can think of Princeville and Punta Mita. Though I am sure I am missing some. I would not consider St. John, St. Marteen or Aruba to be at this level.

What are some other properties I might want to investigate.
