BKK connection on paid ticket

Like the previous poster I am traveling through BKK on my way to Kathmandu, I am traveling on an AC paid ticket next Friday to BKK (via ICN Asiana codeshare) I am planning to call AC about waiver policies and will post here if I hear anything. I was in BKK last week during the start of the floods and central Bangkok was fine, this time it is a big unknown as some parts may get little water but a flood wall can break and then all bets are off. The signal to noise ratio of news is pretty low, probably best to leave BKK to connections only. The airport will probably be fine, I am likely going to stay on the airside and try to get boarding passes from transfer desk. For information I have found the twitter feed #ThaiFloodEng to be pretty good.
