I stayed 5 nights there in July while I was there for the WSOP, and I paid got one of their offers directly of their website. I played about 2-3 hours of $10-$25 craps and about 1-2 hours of $25-$50 single deck Blackjack, and from that trip alone I'm almost at gold status. Although I am not sure if that's alot since it appears as though most of my points were generated from my stay as well as charging spending (meals) to my room.

I believe you will receive more Identity Points from hotel stays and spending at the properly, where as the instant gratification (comps) will come from gambling.

Like bhatnasx said, I still have yet to receive a single offer from Identity in terms of staying there, so as much as I like Cosmoplitan, I'm still going to stay at a MGM or CET property from comps and just gamble at the Cosmopolitan on my visits.
