I take it that your based in CDG or near ?

What are your travel patterns ? do you travel much in Y or do you travel lots and could use the miles bonus for being silver ?

Also what are your travel plans for the coming year ? will it involve much BA or OW flying ?

If the answer is Yes i would say its worth a quick hop to LHR and back, also keep in mind that BA fly ex ORY and it could well be easier or slightly cheaper sometimes
