I heard that EK was not happy that SQ is getting the first delivery. But apparently Airbus will deliver the 2nd aircraft to EK and both SQ and EK will operate their new aircrafts to London the same day.

SQ gets to be the 1st airline to take off for London, whereas EK gets to be the 1st airline to land in London.

SQ may have ordered a few A380s, but the biggest order goes to EK.
