I'd take the advice of flying directly to Siam Reap, skipping BKK altogether and going straight to Chiang Mai/Phuket. While in Phuket you should be able to get a good idea of whether BKK airport is still open for business.

You could choose to fly into BKK then or go from Phuket directly to an alternate airport.
