There really are no good seats on these aircraft, but 1C does have the most leg room (IMO 1B is a bad seat with a cramped bulkhead).

As other's have said, you can't see out the window when you are in a "window seat." Pick an aisle and wait until the last possible minute to board - it's not like there is any bin space, PFBs, etc. to lose out on.
