I was surprised when my friend mention that they were really hoping that when the summer schedule comes out that the route is operated by a 777. I went on to ask why? Mentioning the normal positive 747 benefits, First in the nose and no galley in front 1A/1K. The upper deck and the scramble for certain seats up there.
However it turns out when it comes to customer surveys, flights operated by 777s always get higher customer satisfaction scores than those by 747s.
On here everyone seems to prefer the 747 over the 777...so is BA FT out of touch with the rest of the world?

PS. I won't be revealing the route which might lose the 747

I guess it depends how they weight the scores, if its per pax, then the 777 is far nicer in the back, which will no doubt swing it.
Personally Im happy with the 777 in every cabin and would never make a scheduling choice based on 777/747. J is better on the 747, for me though, its not really as big a difference as people make out and unless you're in 1/2/AK in F, then the 777 is better in my eyes
