Probably something to do with the hordes of new/clueless/mentally dispossessed leisure travellers who slow down lines at security, check-in, boarding, etc. Personally, I just don't like all the kids running around. The good thing of all this is you don't see the pretentious attitude of many business travellers and the lounges are pretty much ghost towns.
