You can also go to Puerto Maldonado for your jungle experience. I've done both Iquitos and PEM and the jungle experience is good in both. It is only 30 minutes flight from Cuzco - IIRC two of the daily LIM-CUZ flights continue to PEM - so maybe you can even include that on your LAX-LIM-CUZ ticket?
I already booked LAX to LIMA to Cuzco for 40k miles. If I change and add PEM, how much would it cost...
Not a bad idea if it is inexpensive. I can then use 12.5k for PEM - Cuzco - Arequipa (stopover) - Lima for my flight back to the U.S
