^ I to have been able to go into the LH website and book my seats, make seat changes etc. The only seats not available to book are within Europe flights, but even on those getting the seat I wanted has never been a problem.
^. has worked for me every time. LH confirmation number (that you can get from UA CSR) is all you need. has worked for all my long-haul LH flights.
