Regarding your initial post, I would have thought it was about a UA flight not posting right away. From the experiences in my family, AC flights have hardly ever posted without having to request it, especially for my sister and by the time she realizes it, she can't find her boarding passes. The same thing happened to me earlier this year. I was even watching for it, but I had too many trips too close together that I had to pack/unpack for that I misplaced just that boarding pass and the flight never posted. As with my sister, I haven't been able to request it because I don't remember my seat number. AC is such a hassle to get credited that I avoid it when possible.
