So I have a mr coming and I was booked in BWI-LAX-SAN
but there was a schedule change and they put me on BWI-DEN-SAN, definitely missing on at least 500MQMs. I called and was told that since I am arriving 1:30(7:19pm vs 8:30pm) hours later than my scheduled arrival time they CANNOT change my itin to the original itin.
Even spoke to a super and they did not budge. As far as asking for the original credit they said you will get what you fly. The super put notes in my PNR so now noone can touch my reservation.
Very dissapointed. Do I have a recourse?
You can call UA back after you have completed your travel and ask for the original routing credit. Tell them that there was a schedule changed and you were re-routed. I have done it many times in the past but not before traveling started.
