You don't need any lessons eightblack, you don't even need a camera. You are able to paint very vivid images (which we may or may not like to see ) with your words.

I agree, it's a total pain. I don't mind so much going into NZ, as the process is quite straight forward. But coming back to Sydney is painful. I have a four year visa here and each time I re-enter Australia I have to calculate how many years and months until the end of my visa and then write it down on the form. Difficult to do if you arrive on a red-eye and your brain is mashed because of jet lag.

In any case, great to see another "matthandy" penned trip report

Good to see that you haven't lost your photography skills ^

That's some picture for a "quick shot" !!!

Might just have to be my new desktop wallpaper
Only just seeing this now?? Not good enough kered! It's not quite the same journey as my previous report, so don't expect tales of copious Champagne drinking or elegant lounges!

Well, I was lucky to grab that shot, I was on my phone Skyping with someone at the time, so I had to drop the phone and grab my camera. Luckily, my camera starts up in less than a quarter of a second, so it's great for those quick shots.

Ahh, must be a bit of a British thing I suspect. Here we go: http://www.britishsweets.com.au/shop...EETS&reduced=0

There is no security required for domestic aircraft up to 90 seats. If you had travelled main trunk on a 733 or A320 then you would have entered the gate area located behind the pub!
Thanks deconz. Ah, that makes sense. I did wonder about the security, as it was a big surprise to me to be honest!
