I made award travel reservations last night on Continental.com and the carrier is US Airways. If I go to the seat selection for my flight, it says I can't reserve a seat until 24 hours prior to the flight or from an airport gate agent. Should I be concerned I may not have a seat at all? I'm a Continental Gold member. Any advice would be appreciated.
I was just told by a US Airways CSR, that because they have received so many complaints of United not giving seat upgrades to their (USA) customers, they are no longer honoring status with Star Alliance partners.
