How to exchange points for miles
1. Go to
www.ubs.com/keyclub. Select "SWISS / Miles & More" from the partner list and click on the exchange link.
2. Enter your Miles & More member number and select the number of UBS KeyClub points that you want to exchange (at least 10 points). Award miles are provided only in multiples of 2,000 miles. 2,000 award miles correspond to 40 KeyClub points.
3. If you would like to exchange fewer than 40 KeyClub points, you can pay the remaining amount with your credit card.
4. With any transaction, you can buy a maximum of 2,000 additional miles. To do so, enter your credit card details. (A maximum of 10,000 additional award miles may be purchased per year - max. 5 transactions).
5. An order confirmation will be sent immediately to your e-mail address. Print out this order confirmation and send it in an envelope, together with the corresponding number of KeyClub points, to the address provided.
6. As soon as your points have arrived, the miles you ordered will be credited to your personal Miles & More award account (up to a maximum of 250,000 miles a year).
Not the greatest deal, but at least another option to easily get some additional award miles in Switzerland.
The price of CHF 0.02/mile is high (equally, paid with KeyClub points or by credit card), but if you have spare KeyClub points anyways and don't see a better use for them, why not?
PS: I haven't managed to do this:
4. With any transaction, you can buy a maximum of 2,000 additional miles
