book one-ways instead of return flight because there are no fuel surcharges ex-Brazil, saving about 200GBP
On this point, I just checked on ITA and flying from GRU to LHR via IAH, does not have any fuel surcharge, while IAH to LHR direct has a £192 surcharge.
Does that mean I could tack on a few days in Brazil to a US trip I have planned and avoid £400(2 people) and get a free trip to Brazil?
Is something like this allowed LHR-JFK(stopover)- GRU and then GRU to IAH(stopover)-LHR
Would a >24 hour stopover in IAH on the way back incur the fuel surcharge?
