I have a coming trip which transit at SJC. First leg is Southwest, and second leg is American. When I check the website of SJC, it seems Southwest is at terminal B, while AA is at terminal A. So my question is:

Are terminal A & B inter-connected? THat is, i don't have to go out and pass through the security again?

Reason why I'm asking is because I have only 45 minutes in between the two flights. If I have to go out and come back in, I might not make the connection.
