I use to buy luggage in the ugliest colour so that it will standout until I found out on FT that others are doing the same.

I put my travel date/location/local contact info on a sheet which is folded up and inserted into a ziploc bag with dayglo orange tape that I taped to the inside edge of the bags so that it will be obvious.

Nothing on the outside that will identify my residence. My tags are laminated biz card which has my cell number and business address and I put my FF number on the reverse.
