I'm going to Paris and Amsterdam in June 2012 with my sisters and niece (for her high school graduation gift). I know this is high season for transAtlantic airfares, so I'm hoping that booking now will get me the best price.
The best price I can find (coach - I don't have status with any carrier) is on Aer Lingus from JFK via Dublin for $956. These are one-way tickets JFK-CDG and AMS-JFK) and all flights are on Aer Lingus. Departure is 6/18/12 and return is 6/25/12. We're taking the train from Paris to Amsterdam, so that's not an issue.
I have 2 questions: 1. should I book now at this price or is it better to wait? 2. If the flight arrives on time, I have 1.25 hours in Dublin to connect to the Paris flight. Is this enough time?
