I think many people are quite selective with what information they place on the tags. I put lots of info on there in the past, but I've decided name and mobile phone number is enough (maybe frequent flyer scheme number as well). Don't like to advertise to anyone (e.g. cab driver, casual passerby at airport, baggage handler) who reads the tag, my address and the knowledge that it may be vacant for a while. Paranoid? Maybe , but I don't think any more info is required other than name and a contact phone number.
