Am looking to take a 3-4 week trip in early 2012 to India. Probably flying in to Kolkata and out of Delhi, but flexible.

There are many Star Alliance carriers that fly to India, and my preference (all other things being equal) is of course an Asian carrier with their renowned business class product. There are easy options on Lufthansa and United but would rather not. Did find a cool routing back to AUS for 60k miles on Virgin Atlantic Business Class Delhi - London - NYC - AUS.

Question, is, using SaverPass, what do experienced FT vets recommend doing to get the best experience for 60k miles per leg? Options are ANA, Asiana, Singapore, and other Asian carriers..

Bonus points to you if you can figure out how to work in a week in Melbourne, Australia or London on the way out or the way back home - while the trip still costing only 120k miles. (Home is AUS).
