good point.. you should be able to connect via air to the main islands... so koh samui, Phuket, krabi etc should be an alternative add on airfare if you are still coming for a few days and the water situation doesn't improve.

as of 730am local time here still dry!
Wife is on business in BKK, and I'll be visiting friends, I talked another friend from NYC to join us as he is between jobs, so we're not sure right now what is going to happen. I still have two weeks or so before I leave.
