I stayed at the Arion on the Athenian Riviera during the current riots in Syntagma Square. Everything was as peaceful and quiet as could be. Most of the staff were able to make it to work despite the lack of public transportation. Since there was only limited service in the lounge, the hotel offered breakfast to Platinum guests in the restaurant, some of the restaurants were closed, and there was limited room service. The hotel arranged for transportation to the airport and other points for guests who needed to get anywhere during the strike.
