United sent me some compensation $250 e-certificates, 18-digit numbers, for myself and parties travelling with me due to a recent distressing mishap. They spelled a name wrong (it was wrong on the original ticket, which was part of the mishap.) Does this matter?

The email they sent me listed names and next to each name, a certificate number. I looked through terms and conditions and it says nothing about each certificate specifically needing to be used by the person it is listed as being for.

Are they just listing names to explain what the intention of the certificates are?
