Yesterday I faxed in my authorization for SQ to deduct miles for an upgrade. By last night, the miles were gone. And today I recieved my certificate in the mail.

And this was NOT the expedite service (with $30 fee). This the regular "no extra charge."

Granted, I live in LA, where SQ's US office is. Still, I am quite impressed!
