SQ 009 from Lax/Hkg was too cold, but fortunately, there were lots of extra blankets, as J class was nearly empty (as was the back of the plane). Cannot comment on the meal service, as the flight left at 12:30AM. After 2 pre-flight glasses of champagne, I decided to "try" the spacebed, shortly after take-off. The bed must have been very comfortable, as I woke up 8-1/2 hours later. Flt 10 from HKG/Las had a few more passengers. I prepared myself for a cool cabin and lots of blankets. Alas, the cabin was extremely warm. No blankets necessary. Really too warm to sleep comfortably. Suggest wearing very light clothing for this flight. Also, as the flight leaves HKG at 8:40PM, eat first. The food was dreadful. Arrival in LAS is great. Wheels down at 5:17PM and in our hotel room a little past 6:00PM. Be sure to call hotel concierge for a driver. No taxis around the international arrivals bldg.(something I noticed when I departed). JeffreyT, I'll e-mail a mini-trip report to you.
