I stayed at the Le Meridien in August for one night while enroute to Phuket. I booked cash and points and received a suite upgrade. As a Platinum this hotel is a phenomenal value. At the same time there are lots of reasonably priced luxury hotels in Bangkok, so I'd probably try a few more out before returning.
