FlyerTalk places a high value on privacy. Thus, email addresses are not revealed as a matter of course. Let me do my best to explain when moderators are able to see email addresses. They are only able to see them on an exception basis. For example, if moderator A saw this thread, he or she would have no database in which they could look up your address. They can only see it if you Report a Bad Post in their forum or if you send a message to them. The software is set up to reveal your email address in this specific case so that the moderator can respond to you. If you don't want a moderator to ever see your email address but do want to communicate with them, use the PM tool.
