I would like to start by setting the bar for a trip I have upcoming from YYJ-SFO-MUC-ZRH-HKG. With a 5 and half hour connection in SFO, 1 hour in MUC, and 3 hours 20 mins. in ZRH.My total (elapsed) time of travel will be 36 hours and 4 minutes!

Anybody top that?

(Just in case you were wondering why I am doing this crazy thing, Its a result of the MPM limits over the Pacific from YYJ, and also limited F class availability on points in winter over the Pacific.)
YHZ-KEF-LHR-DXB-SYD
Departed YHZ on 3 October, arrived SYD on 6 October. 3 overnight flights in Economy class.
Total flight time: 27 hours, 40 minutes.
Transit time (on ground) in airports: 14 hours 50 minutes.
Total travel time: 42 hours, 30 minutes.

Having injured my knee in Canada, I was walking with 2 crutches and, consequently, needed wheelchair assistance. At every airport, I was treated with helpfulness and consideration, and all security checks were done politely and efficiently.
