I was wondering does anyone know what the actual linear dimensions for this bag is as it is sold by costco, it shows the dimensions as follows:

Dimensions: 8.5"w x 15.75"l x 20"h
Linear inches: 44.24”

The only issue is that when I tried to measure it with a measuring tape, I can compress it down to 8.0"w x 15.0"l x 23"h, the reason for the 23"h is the carry handle is a hard piece that cannot be pushed down, wouldn't this already exceed the 45" linear dimension limit by 1" because of the handle, I am on a V Australia ticket flying Delta SFO <-> LAX, V Australia from LAX to SYD, and Virgin Australia between SYD and MEL, would the airlines be strict about it as it seems for a 20" International carry-on, it's bigger than even a 21" from Ful.
