Hi everyone,

It turns out I might be moving to Singapore from Boston in the near future, so I wanted to evaluate my options regarding airlines. As much as I'm a fan of Singapore Airlines, I want to make sure my status somehow counts (I'm a few K short of DL DM).

What would be the best way of converting status? Is there a relatively painless way to get status on UA and thus accrue miles on SQ? I would be traveling around in the region, and it doesn't make sense long-term to try and use Skyteam partners in the region (and certainly none of them have the reputation SQ does).

Any suggestions? Thanks!
