I get why LAX-ATL is hard to begin with, but I had my first taste of FCM while booking yesterday. LAX-ROC (via ATL) was $200 or so in Y. Or $500 in F. As long as that pricing structure exists, DL gets more $$$ and more medallions sit in the back. I get it and it makes sense for DL, but does diminish our benefits.
Right, but when I throw in those LHR legs, the pricing structure between Y and J is MUCH different = I'll be at the mercy of the window u/g or the battlefield u/g. I am okay with this and fully believe that if I really want to be up front, I'll pay for it - and have done so in the past. For $675 roundtrip, I'm okay if I'm in the 77L EC seat in the back.
